Lapsus Planck – FOMO

Lapsus Planck - FOMO Video

FOMO is the latest single and video by Madrid-based band Lapsus Planck, a track to be included on their upcoming EP, Vado Permanente.

The group released the single on February 19, 2025, with great fanfare, encouraging their fans to throw red rubber balls on the television show hosted by David Broncano, La Revuelta.

Everyone wants to be everywhere, pressured by social media. And Lapsus Planck echoes this with FOMO, the acronym for Fear Of Missing Out, the current phenomenon affecting many young people. The Madrid band puts a new spin on the concept and is inspired by the mental sabotage of intrusive thoughts that lead to frustration when one fails to achieve one’s life goals.

The video, directed by the band’s singer Txema Lirón de Robles for Plastic Salad Films, features production by guitarist Pesto and performances by Paloma Pérez Flores and Mikel Balseiro.

The single was produced and mastered by Bernardo Calvo (Carolina Durante), a Jungle Indie Rock collaborator since the start of our blog. Lapsus Planck, who joined the Jungle Bands project in 2024, consists of Txema (vocals and guitar), Pesto (guitar), Carlos (bass), and Juan (drums).
