Rebjukebox Playlist 2024 – No 1

As well as submitting tracks for Jungle Indie Rock playlist, I started to make my own Rebjukebox playlists on Soundcloud, way back in 2014. They have always been shared on the Tumblr, but we have decided from 2024 to also share them here.

Starting each playlist with 200+ tracks, then listen and reject until I get to the desired number, which is now 40 tracks. Don’t really care what genre it is, what country it comes from, or what language it’s in, I listen. They are a mix of emerging and established bands and artists.

I enjoy making these very much. Some tracks then end up on a Jungle playlist. But I discover a great number of new bands and artists by compiling these playlists. Once I have cut down to the final 40 tracks, I usually take another listen, while typing up the running order.

After 10 years and the fact more and more bands are moving to Spotify, I thought I might as well make the same version there, so you have a choice either listen on Soundcloud or Spotify. They are not monthly, just when one is ready I share it. This is why they are numbered, Rebjukebox 2024 – No 1.
