Adam and the Ants – Zerox (1979)

Zerox fue el segundo sencillo de Adam and the Ants fue lanzado el 6 de julio de 1979, a través de Do It Records, con Whip In My Valise en la cara B. Ninguno de los dos se incluyó en el fantástico álbum de debut de la banda de 1979, Dirk Wears White Sox, pero ambos se incluyeron en la reedición ampliada. Adam and the Ants duró de 1977 a 1982, existiendo en dos conformaciones principales, ambas lideradas por Adam Ant.

La versión 1 (banda de post-punk) estaba formada por Dave Barbarossa, Matthew Ashman y Leigh Gorman, quienes dejaron la banda en enero de 1980 por sugerencia del entonces manager Malcolm McLaren, para formar Bow Wow Wow. Esta versión la vi en vivo, si mal no recuerdo, cuatro veces.

La versión 2 (Pop Band) de Adam and the Ants se formó con Marco Pirroni (guitarra), Kevin Mooney (bajo) y los bateristas Terry Lee Miall y Chris “Merrick” Hughes. ¡¡Nunca quise ver esta versión!! LOL
