Theatre Royal – A Marvellous Death
La banda británica de indie rock Theatre Royal presenta su último sencillo A Marvelous Death, lanzado el 5 de marzo de 2020. La canción habla de un hombre que no se resigna a vivir sus últimos días atrapado en su vejez y decide darle vida a su espíritu joven para morir siendo el que era. “Estaba pensando en la vejez y la muerte y pensé que la parte más triste es estar atrapado por la edad y no poder vivir al máximo tus últimos días. Así que decidí escribir una canción sobre ello», dice Oliver Burgess de Theatre Royal.
La portada presenta a un joven anciano fotografiado en Londres por Sam Wainwright , un amigo de la banda que conoce a esta persona. La canción sin duda atrapa el alma y la luz que proyecta este hombre.
Theatre Royal es una banda de indie rock de Medway (Reino Unido). El grupo se formó después de entrar y actuar en el teatro victoriano abandonado de Chatham del mismo nombre en 2009, junto a sus amigos y residentes de Billy Childish y Lupen Crook. el grupo lo forman Oliver Burgess (voz, guitarra), Dr. Robert (guitarra, voz), Brendan Esmonde (bajo) y Jon Gibbs (batería).
