Esta semana hemos encontrado una grata sorpresa en el buzón. Un grupo valenciano, totalmente desconocido para nosotros, con unas canciones maravillosas, muy bien producidas (se nota la mano de Nigel Walker – Pink Floyd, McCartney, Bryan Ferry, Hombres G, La Oreja de Van Gogh-)  y cantadas en inglés. Una joya.

Se llaman Rainkid, formaron el grupo a mediados de 2017 y tienen publicado un primer EP, homónimo y autoeditado, que puedes escuchar al completo a través de cualquier plataforma digital. El EP, que salió a la venta el 2 de octubre de 2019, consta de tres temas. Sunrise es la tercera canción extraída de este trabajo, grabado en RPM Estudios de Paterna (Valencia) y el tercero de sus vídeos oficiales.

Esta prometedora banda tiene un sonido muy internacional, fresco y alegre. De su actitud se respira muy buen rollo, naturalidad y energía. Rainkid sonNacho Torres (piano, guitarra y voz), Javi Fuentes (guitarra), Guille Fuentes (bajo) y Alejandro Marí (batería). Un grupazo.
