Lyrics
I know what you’re thinking right on time
Tore through sheets, crossed the yard
To see it happen with my eyes
“Ah, he’s alright. He’s fine”
Lucy, grab that damn dog, come inside
The Thompsons won’t be happy
Their pigs lost an eye
He crossed that property line
Their boys and some buddies rolled by, baby
Bright lights on the kids, oh yeah
By rights, shot that dog and it died
And my wife, she ran down stairs and cried
“Ah she’s alright. She’s fine”
Junior ran out fists held up high
He went swinging with a young man’s wiles
I saw him twirling and punching wild
Everybody’s asking, “Where’d it go?”
Spеnt that whole night looking
But treasure nеver showed
And most nights that’s how it goes
Then he grabbed me by the scruff and pulled close
