Stereo Roux – nostalgia.fm

nostalgia.fm

Nostalgia.fm is the latest single from the composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist musician, and producer Stereo Roux.

This is probably the most personal and introspective song by the Ecuatorian and Miami-based singer-songwriter, a song with melancholic resonances like echoes of a radio station that tunes into the artist’s feelings.

“This song is about how scary the present world can be, and the struggles we face as we reminisce of a better time when we didn’t have to worry about things,” Stereo Roux told Jungle Indie Rock.

“I wrote this song from my perspective, a clueless young adult trying to figure out his place in the world, constantly thinking about the past where I felt safer and not so confused, which makes me nostalgic.”

With nostalgia.fm Stereo Roux has seven singles and one less for the publication of his debut album, which will be out at the end of September 2024. Listen to the song on Spotify or right here and follow in the footsteps of one of the artists of our project Jungle Bands, 2024.

Lyrics
Guess I’m here again
The world about to end again
The things I knew are with the wind
The house I knew is cavin’ in
Guess I’m alright for now
For now
For now
But this house gets so dark
Sometimes
For a while
I wish that I could go just back
And I wish that I could turn back time
I wish I’d feel the way you made me feel when I was in your arms
I wish that things were easier
And I wish I never said goodbye
And I wish I never saw your little face with tears inside your eyes
Remember, remember, remember
There’s better
Remember, remember, remember
That nothing’s forever
Stereo Roux
