Spanish band Belako releases marinela2017
The Basque post-punk quartet Belako has delayed the publication of their next album Plastic Drama, scheduled for May 8, 2020. The uncertainty about the distribution of the physical disc in the international markets, given the different current speeds of each country, delays the expected release. “It is clear that now is not the best time to do it, but we know it will come,” they said in a statement.
From Plastic Drama we know already 5 songs through their official videos. marinela2017 is the third track unveiled, with this lyrics video. Here you can watch and listen to the rest, from the tracklist of the advanced videos:
Belako consists of Josu Ximun Billelabeitia (guitar and voice), Lore Nekane Billelabeitia (bass and voice), Lander Zalakain (drums and voice) and Cris Lizarraga (keyboard and voice).
Lyrics:
Shipping through time and space
Don’t really have a choice
The more you hugged me
The more I felt alone
Need to find my capsule, will it ever lead me home?
Feel, feel me blue
Haven’t found a proper way to speak my mind again
“Don’t be an alien”, easy for you to say
My journey’s still ahead of me, facing an odyssey
Feel, feel me blue
Written off completely, now I’ll settle down and wait
The stars are glittering far away from my base
Can’t contain my tears so now I’ll let them float in space
Written off completely, now I’ll settle down and wait
The stars are glittering far away from my base
Can’t contain my tears so now I’ll let them float in space
Written off completely, now I’ll settle down and wait
The stars are glittering far away from my base
Can’t contain my tears so now I’ll let them float in space
