Matt Berninger – Holes (Mercury Rev)

The National’s frontman Matt Berninger has just issued this video and single for Holes. Holes is a cover of the opening song from Mercury Rev’s 1998 album Deserter’s Songs. The video was directed by Chris Sgroi, it was filmed and edited by Chris Sgroi and Tom Berninger. Holes is being released as a single as part of the 7 Inches for Planned Parenthood series. I love the original but this cover is so so good.
