Mazzy Star – Fade Into You (1994)

Today, we have very sad news. Mazzy Star founder and guitarist David Roback has died at the age of 61. Roback spent most of the past decade living in Norway before his death on 25th February 2020. He was one of the central figures in L.A.’s psychedelic Paisley Underground scene. David was a member of Rain Parade, Opal and Rainy Day. Forming Mazzy Star with Hope Sandoval and their second album, So Tonight That I Might See, became a hit thanks to single, Fade Into You. Their last music, Still EP, was released in 2018. Below, there is a live performance of their famous song Fade Into You from February 10, 1994 at Shoreline Amphitheatre.
