Tommy James and the Shondells are an American Rock / Pop group, were big in the swinging 60′s. They had 5 Top 10 hits in the US. Mony Mony being the bands only hit here in the UK, making it all the way to number 1. It has been since covered by many other artists, i guess you would most likely know the version by Billy Idol (1981).
